Greetings to all! :)

My name is Philip, I am 27 years old, my specialty is European Union studies and politics in general, but zoology has been a hobby of mine since my early teenage years!

I used to be a member of the Discovery Channel forums (now defunct), Animal Elite, Carnivora, AVA as well as a number of other boards with a focus on wild and domestic animals!

@sunnyAK was nice enough to invite me to this online community and I look forward to contributing! :geek:

HI dogfriends thanks for the welcome.

Nice that you still remember my fierce boerboel..haha..after he died i got a rottweler germansheperd cross.
He is a fierce looking and barking dog and verry protective over my familie and home, but you never know
wat he would do in a real situation..i dont fool myselve ever again! I dont care what anybody else say but
you dont know what your dog will do unless you test him..period!!
I saw enough with my big 85 kilo pure muscled boerboel..the broke into my house and he did nothing and
one day i was almost attacted and he was nowhere to be seen. When I was jong i was a fool to believe what
breeders would tell me, now i know better if you dont test and breed gooddogs for guardwork you will end up
with shit dogs only looking pretty in the showring but shit your house full when the bad guy commes for you!!

Where was your Boerboel from? Indeed pretty bad for a guard dog. A big fail...

a little breeder in holland..forgot the breeder..certificate is at my ex house..but it was also my fail..because i had a good breeder but the puppies died..so i looked for the best next litter..and burned myself..i was just to eager!
My next guarddog must be out if parends that are tested.
But every breeder will tell you that there dogs will protect you..even if they are not tested..thats nonsens!
